Chapter 1: Wannabe | 20

A bit of a closer look at the Academic Council… these are the older, legacy heroes of days gone by in the Magellan-verse. When I was developing the comic it was originally going to be more intimate… more on a scale equal to the original X-Men Xavier's School (one teacher and six students)… as you can see that got scaled up a bit! All the characters have names and powers etc but for the most part they are like extras, they show up in the background and recur from time to time but don't play any major part. Some of them will become more significant as the story develops. Thanks for the comments and support!

so were false memories just planted?

I'd guess the link problem is simply that you made an error in the URL. The fact that it looks correct suggests everything is is correct. Since you can't change Comments once they're posted, it's usually better to post links in your Author's Comments box. That way you can go back and change them as often as you want! And, yes, that's an admission that I get them wrong more often than I get them right!

If you want to post a hyperlink, use the code {url}www.yourlinkhere.com{/url} only replace the {}s with []s. If you want to get tricky, you can do {url="www.yourlinkhere.com"}What ever text you want to appear here{/url} again replacing the {}s with []s That's not the first time I've taught someone how to do that.

Thanks for the comments everyone. When I decided to go down the road of "lots of characters" I figured it would be important to have past, present and future heroes and for those past heroes to be old. God of War hits the nail on the head, most 'old characters' from earlier years in comics hardly age at all and certainly not relative to younger characters. @Lemniskate: yes, they're colour coded by faculty - deep red=Council; light blue (Freya)=psychology; light purple (Tom)=physical education; other factulties include medicine, science, tech, arcane sciences, criminology, humanities, mathematics, tactics, demonology, special needs, business management, etc! Full faculty key here... http://magellan.comicgenesis.com/art02.html (sorry, haven't worked out how to make these links live... any hints?)

Are they colour-coded? Which sleeve does mean what?

Very nice, it is interesting to see how time changes characters, especially heroes :D

I like to see a world where superheroes from sixties aged in real time.

I actually like it on this scale--it reminds me of the Legion Academy in the Legion of Super-Heroes' best period.
