Chapter 1: Wannabe | 50

Remember Charisma Epoch from the brawl back on page 1.36, well meet her father! Charisma can be seen siiting in the front row, looking somewhat unimpressed by her father's entrance. Epoch is also a (hugely popular) member of Force Magellan and like Charisma he has flight, strength and invulnerability as his powers. Unlike his daughter however his predisposition is a lot less snarky. His general power levels are all much higher than Charisma's due to her mother (Evangaline)being a norm with no powers… so how did Epoch and EVangaline do it without succumbing to Woman of Kleenex style problems??? That, dear reader, is an interesting story for another day… in the meantime… EPOCH!!!

@jamoecw: yes most authors seem to want to explore father/son stuff - thought it would be interested to change the gender dynamic!

i find that the story of charisma's origins are not only the most believable method of such suped up people procreating with norms, but also rather hilarious. he also differs from superman and captain marvel in that he quickly gains more depth than those shallow icons. the stereotypical hero is portrayed excellently with the whole father daughter stuff (later on).

Epoch's on fire! (Literally!)

Similar (in that he flies, has great strength and high degree of invulnerability) but he has his physical limits and his power derives from (long since deceased) superpowered parents not from magic or from being an alien...!

Epoch's the Superman/Captain Marvel of Force Magellan.
