@al: I haven't specifically told Epoch's origin story yet, it's a little surprise extra I'm working on as a side-project which will get an airing hopefully before the end of the year - it ties together a number of threads withing the Magellanverse however, I think you'll like it. Stat tuned is all I can say. @Nepath: yes, he has a natural charm about him doesn't he? so what happened to his daughter???
