@Lemniskate: he's also trying to use his mouth and vocal chords in a way his canine half has never tried or been able to. Some physical differences for his human hald would also make it more difficult. It took me a while to iron out exactly how Brelvis speaks but we'll see more of that with time. @God of War: the personality of the dog is in there too! @DAJB: Thanks! And by "fine" the doctor is probably thinking: "well at least there isn't a foot growing out of his head"...

I think the "[i]physically he's fine[/i]" part of that diagnosis warrants a second opinion! ;-) Great end to a great chapter!

Here I'm sitting, murmuring "brelvis... buh-relvis... brelvis..." in front of my PC, trying to figure out which part of his mouth changed so that he can't articulate a plosive and an approximant in one string...
