Today's update looks at the Silver Age of the Magellanverse, and introduces Magellan himself and various other heroes of the day. In frame 2 we see, in clockwise order, Dr Logarythm, Glamour, Nitroman, Gola Beh, Premonitia and The Green Pope. We first saw all but Gola way back on pages 1.20 thru 1.22 - in particular, Mary (Glamor), Ken Spence (Nitro Man) and Karma (Premonitia). Personally I think Magellan's costume is total crap and I'm not happy with that third panel (I should fix it up one day) but it does ‘introduce’ the Magellan insignia so that's something I suppose! Panel 4 introduces the International Justice Force (IJF) the membership of which also includes The Chinese Lantern from the Golden Age. Today's update is brought to us by Vertigo (aka Kendra Dern, USA) of Force Magellan who had her first cameo appearance on page 48 - her powers, as suggested by her codename induce mild to extreme disorientation, and can cover a considerable radius or be as focused as required. Tomorrow, some of the different realms and realities adjacent to the Magellanverse and the beings that live in them!

@alschroeder: oh, yeah - I should have mentioned that! I should have also mentioned that I these days she no longer has that head piece part of her costume. It looked interesting in design but once I started drawing it, it didn't really work out. Also it looked a bit like The Hierophant's headpiece. We'll see him tomorrow! @Lemniskate: I had to laugh when the Alex Ross Project: Superpowers comic which contains out of copyright characters came out and included The Green Lama! My Holiness trumps his Holiness any day! @DAJB: cute, isn't it?
