Chapter 2: Leap | 7

The large frame in this page is meant to show that they've moved from the tower at the top to the leap at the bottom - technically it doesn't make sense from a sequential art point of view (I probably should have cut the frame in half… but thems the breaks!)
We're introduced to Lyta - who is a demi-goddess from the realm Arkan. She has strength, invulnerability and extreme arrogance as her main powers… in all regards an equal match for Charisma (although Charisma can fly also). Although it's not very obvious here, I modeled her after those over-developed body building women who have lots of muscles and very little in the way of soft feminine curves - it was my way of trying to mangle the super-sexy-curvy-feminine goddess cliche.

I laughed at how you listed "extreme arrogance" as one of Lyta's powers :D

I also like the way they're pitted against each other. --Al

I guess Team Kaycee will have an advantage in the pool section but I hope their grasp of maths is a lot better than mine!

You bet! The whole island is essentially their training room in one way or another. There's also the Robomat, where they get to beat up (or be beaten up by) specially constructed robots. More on the Robomat in a later story...

A whole training hall is so much better than just one lousy Danger Room.
