Chapter 2: Leap | 19

The realisation of his situation comes crashing home. Mind you, Brelvis really is the mind of Brian merged with Elvis the dog… and that will become clearer later. So even if you feel that Brian was an idiot especially for what he did to poor unwitting Elvis (which he was), remember that Elvis is as much a part of Brelvis as Brian is.
BTW, back when I first started planning Magellan “Brelvis” was one of the first characters I designed, before Kaycee, before Fatima and Go etc. I can't remember if I even called him Brelvis originally or what his origin was, but the design was the same. As Magellan grew and evolved, the role of Brelvis changed quite a lot!

the ability to lick ones owns balls is over rated, a person that is fairly flexible can do it with being at the contortionist level. i bet it is just the dog in him that thinks that is neat, after all, he did realize that it wasn't worth sharing (or probably even desired to share).

at a guess, it would be the inate dog-nature... just doing what dogs do before the human half of his mind kicked in...! heheheheh

Makes you wonder how he discovered he could lick himself there...

yes, this is true - it was my Dinosaur Comics moment. But it was fairly intentional at the time for the visual impact it provided - one thing I did find out about cut and paste was that it was actually a lot of work.

So he has now a mind of a dog? In this case, that's a great improvement.
