patents, resources, commissions, science, stocks, etc! also, since a lot of their workforce can lift heavy objects, transform matter, etc it's much easier and cheaper to construct what they want.

ya, better than xmen, and more plausible sources of income. imagine if you went to a preppy american university, where every rich kid who flunks out earns them a few million to keep them in, they sometimes build impressive stuff, if they all pooled their money to build one super university they could easily afford something like this, but i'm guessing you go to some university that doesn't allow buying admittance.

Where DO they get the money for the huge buildings, paying the staff, etc.? Is it from the UN, or something else?
