Chapter 2: Leap | 65

Just a quick check in on Brelvis, who we haven't seen for about 40 pages or so. Brelvis is looking at a photo of Kaycee and himself (when ‘he’ used to be both Brian and Elvis the dog). When Brelvis thinks to himself I'm trying to show that he now perceives some people, objects and places from two unique perspectives - to Brian it was the “kitchen”, to Elvis it was the “yummy food room”… so Brelvis thinks of it as both things at the same time. What that might translate to inside his brain I can't say exactly!
We last saw Brelvis' parents at the very end of chapter 1.
Also, a new Crossoverkill page is up today, this time featuring Al Shroeder's Mindmistress - check it out!

that's right - two personalities in one body. Admittedly one of those is a dog, they may have a particular non-verbal way of conceptualising the world but it still counts as a personality. Just as Brelvis no longer has two distinct bodies he no longer has two distint minds, so no matter how much of an idiot you think Brian was for conducting the experiment in the first place you can't hold Brelvis completely accountable for it... 50% of Brelvis is still Elvis.

I, for one, love Brelvis's thinking patterns. It's cute tosee the dog thoughts and always nice to show that no matter what he likes Kaycee, as both Brian and Elvis liked to be around her.

So not only did the transformation have an affect on his physical appearance, it also had an affect on his brain!

"Gen-Ex Clinic"... I'm conditioned by media to mistrust that name.
