Anyway, of the comics he is perusing all but one - Digger by Ursula Verson - is still updating. They may be comics in the Magellanverse but they are webcomics in our reality (although, yes, Digger has since gone into print, but it hadn't at the time). Maxx (TV from Another Planet) was one of mine, but I stopped it due to limited time… maybe again some day. At the time some folks thought I was “trying to say” that these fine upstanding webcomics belonged in the trash, which wasn't my intention - I just figured that if you were a glowy worm-man with a penchant for the funny books you probably had to hope that any comics you might want to read (if damaged in the comic shop or transit), might be discarded out the back as there'd be no chance of buying them in the store.
