Urgh! Sorry Dianne! :(
This is probably the first time I've killed off a character. Even though Dianne is relatively peripheral (having appeared in only 6 or so pages out of 160+ to date) it was still a shock to the system and I have long pondered the wisdom of… er… giving her the chop. I think it's because she isn't a Red Shirt - or at least I didn't feel that she was, there was a real connection with her as a character. Sometimes I've wondered if it shouldn't have been Arsino… but I'm getting ahead of myself.
Tomorrow… ninja vs Go!Anna…!

Let's also hope Dianne didn't have any blood-transmissible viruses... I doubt that sword was sterilized between panels. Seriously, though, kudos. Takes courage to kill a character off, and it really makes the rest of the action weightier. Now we know that these characters really have something at stake.

Right. I don't like deaths of disposable characters. You have to care about a character for it to have an impact. That makes Dianne's death really significant.
