Chapter 4: Bad Karma | 36

A slight change of pace from the main thread of the story. It's time to reaquaint ourselves with the big purple cheese… uh, Epoch! We last saw him saving a planeload of passengers, including the erstwhile Go!Anna, from plunging to a horrible death - that was midway through Chapter 2. We saw both Dr Phillos and Zelda briefly in Chapter 3. Today's page picks up on that loose thread when Zelda inadvertently reactivated an artefact with unpleasant results. Eposch is clearly doing pretty well if he can balance something that big and non-aerodynamic on one hand at speed across the ocean! He isn't AWESOME for nothing!
Tomorrow… another doctor is introduced and a set-back for Epoch.
Thanks for reading and commenting. Be sure to check out Crossoverkill which features Hoodoo from Magellan and a heap of other awesome superheo webcomics… there is a new update today as X-Pletive and Mindmistress take on the axe weilding Syko Suki of the Doppelganger Gang.

some people in this universe have mutant abilities kinda like x-men's mutants. also there are magic users and tech users which have other magic like abilities, like some of marvel's other heroes. in the end since d.c. had copied such format from marvel as well as most other major comics you have in this story a fairly generic super hero world, only done much better in almost every aspect (i haven't seen any oil based comics which blow my mind yet, or foil covered stuff, and don't get me started on the lack of merchandising, so pretty much all that is better is the stuff that matters).

@al: he was born with them. I have a special story to tell about Epoch and his daughter Charisma at some point, so to say more would be spoilerific. :)

He is not the Purple Cheese. The cheese platter of the Marvel Family is full enough thank you very much.

Just curious. How DOES Epoch fly? I know what he can DO pretty much---super-strength, flying, invulnerability, etc...like Superman minus super-senses, or the original Captain Marvel---.but what's the origin of his powers?

@Tolrick: Zelda was the psychic who sent Go!Anna off on the plane that almost crashed and who Go then tracked down in a seedy hotel to get a reading off of an artefact which then precipitated Zelda's hospitilisation, etc!

Off the top of my head, I can't remember who Zelda is.
