Chapter 4: Bad Karma | 50

Can you believe we're up to the 50th page of this chapter already? Seems like Bad Karma kicked off only a few days ago!

Attentive readers might notice that some design elements of the Character Assassins here are quite different from how they appeared in the Magellan leg of Crossoverkill - here it's robes, but in Crossoverkill it's battle fatigues. The basic design elements remain the same however - the :( mask and the Red X and the overall colour scheme - so I'm just putting it down to a style change dictated by the nutso Master Assassin (who does wear a robe!).

Anyway, we can see that Fake Karma can lock/unlock the body's ability to move or remain still during immersion in an illusion - but it's a bit like dangling a carrot, she can't control what they do just offer up the scenario.
