Chapter 4: Bad Karma | 64

So the sequence we're about to enter is, in some ways, a deviation from everything that's been going on to date but it will still dovetail into the overall narrative. What it is though, is a chance to see the cadets in action and will also hopefully offer a slight reprieve from the scheming of evil fake Karma and Mr Goatee. There are quite a few cadets in this page… see if you know who they all are! hm, looks like Charisma is none too happy in that last panel - let's see what she has to say…
Tomorrow… Charisma speaks out!

actually that is somewhere between parade rest and attention. also spence is far too soft to be a drill instructor, he actually let them finish getting ready before he called them to attention, and he hasn't given them some inane and pointless task like form the line by height, alphabetically by name, or even color of their house. not to mention that he hasn't bit charisma's head off yet for crossing her arms. though you would notice that even go!anna has snapped to.

@al: She's probably still ticked from the last encounter with Kaycee. I'm sure in the intervening time they -haven't- patched things up.

Waking up supers out of a sound sleep--not fun. Especially since everyone else is at attention, and Charisma has her arms crossed, obviously ticked... ---Al

I always read the following pages as further fleshing out from issue 2. You get to see how far the cadets have advanced in their training, and see how they handle a completely new situation. And it's very well done.
