And I bet you all though it was going to be Montana-Rose and Sioni who screwed things up in the first instance. We're about to see how they cope when things go pear shaped. I like the look on Kidbot #13's face… for a robot “she” emotes well! When I designed the original look of the robot's I decided to go with a non-human look (just to make them actually look like robots) but they still needed to be something that could be related to. Anyway, can you imagine how much it must cost to keep something like this up and running, not to mention repairing all the punishment and damage that gets meted out by cadets. Good thing Magellan Inc has a healthy investment portfolio!
Tomorrow… everyone “dies”!

yes, I really wanted to have a sequence where the wheels fall off the cart - and Kaycee, who of course needs to try twice as hard to be regarded as half as good by her peers, needed to be the source of that. It helps reinforce latent prejudices! Anyway, it serves a point in the story... this particular sequence will wrap tomorrow.

always the unknown that gets you, that and your own mistakes. perhaps they should have planned for things go south. i forget which rule that is, but planning for when your plan goes out the window is something that experienced heroes should always do, villains as well. in the commercial comic books the heroes seem to know exactly what to do when things go south, and figure it out on the spot, just another reason why this comic is better.
