Chapter 4: Bad Karma | 91

You may recall that Gola Beh, of the Magellan Academic Council, who is presumed away on sabbatical, is in fact being held captive in an illusion by KarMaya, believing that she is sitting in a 1972 Moscow bunker, caring for a badly injured Magellan while Karma/Premonitia rallies forces against a demon invasion above ground. Got all that? None of it exists of course, poor Gola is being terribly befuddled but she has a sneaking suspicion that everything is not as it seems because of KarMaya's failed attempt on Freya and Tom…
This page kind of gives an insight into how Gola perceives her day to day life in the bunker through the lens of the illusion.
Tomorrow… checking in on Tom and Mary.
Thanks for reading and commenting. Be sure to check out Crossoverkill which features Hoodoo from Magellan and a heap of other awesome superhero webcomics…

When I was working on this story I began to see it like some gigantic carpet, there were so many threads that needed to be woven into it... plus I started adding more along the way, all of which needed resolving. By the end most of the threads had been tied up... well except for the intentionally loose ones! @Legend Comics: thanks!

internal consistency is needed in order for the comic to be any good at all, any story really. a story about something important makes a story worthwhile. willingness to kill ones own characters builds suspense. details is what makes this comic stand out from the rest, details in story above all. Hence it is only the enlightened ruler and the wise general who will use the highest intelligence of the army for purposes of spying and thereby they achieve great results.

I love the detail in your plots, subplots, backgrounds and histories. It's not hard to follow at all. Not so far, anyway.
