Chapter 4: Bad Karma | 98
xmung on May 2, 2011
So it's back to the RoboMat and the ongoing cadet exercises… clearly Fatima (cephelamaid), Nadine (speed), Joe (density control, seen in his gas form) and Louis (jumping) didn't have much success defeating RoboEvil weevil either. This is a continuation of a joke from Chapter 2 in which Joe, upon going gaseous loses his clothes which do not likewise turn into gas. Annie/Go!Anna's kiss for Epoch is a thank you for when he saved the 747 she was travelling on from crashing.
Tomorrow… Red Team - Charisma, Rochelle, Maya and Chang!
Thanks for reading and commenting. Be sure to check out Crossoverkill which features Hoodoo from Magellan and a heap of other awesome superhero webcomics…

indeed, some of the teams would not have been good combinations from a power point of view - but it can be inferred perhaps from Spence's comment that so far none of the groups/teams have yet succeeded at their task. Red Team is more powerful than others but, as Al points out, they're fairly disfunctional as a team. We shall know soon enough!

fatima's team is a little underpowered compared to the other two. joe and nadine i can see as major assets to the other two teams. red team looks to have the best makeup of the three we have seen, a techie/strategist, a powerhouse, a magic user, and a psychic (kinda). we have already seen that a magic user can add a delay to their reaction, a psychic (kinda) ought to do the same, if not keep them fully occupied negating the need for a fight. a powerhouse obviously helps out in the fighting quite a bit, as well as 'dynamic breaching'. a techie is needed for security bypass. a strategist is needed in order form a coherent team strategy. the magic user is a wild card, as what they can do varies quite a bit, maybe they are useless, or maybe they can do the mission single handedly. fatima might be able to handle two of the bug things, but not quickly or cleanly. louis might be able to take down one, and quickly, but not cleanly, so those two could handle the first room possibly. joe could prevent any surprises possibly (gas form scouting, not sure how stealthily he can do it though). and nadine can neutralize the gas threat in the third room and act as a distraction, as well as unlocking the door if need be. though with out some one to deal with security then all of that is moot, also none of them seem like the strategist to pull off the little details to a plan like that, maybe if they pulled their brains together before hand. Thus the highest form of generalship is to balk the enemy's plans; the next best is to prevent the junction of the enemy's forces; the next in order is to attack the enemy's army in the field; and the worst policy of all is to besiege walled cities.

What is this, the non team-player squad? Even Rochelle at this stage had problems playing well with others.

Red Team gets points for the fact they still haven't killed each-other.
