And so we see that Psi-Jector is indeed future Mudge Wilson - who you may remember from the panty scene in Chapter 1. Charisma doesn't have a lot of respect for Mudge (well, she doesn't have much for anyone really) so he's not going to get any bonus points from her.

@DAJB... they took the rating system away... :( (& @ MiB) Thanks for the virtual 5s! @jamoecw... he's probably remembering how inferior he felt when he was a cadet at that time (especially compared to anyone in Force Magellan) so feels he has something to prove!

he will get his moment, not sure in how many pages, but he will. though i wonder why he wants to impress charisma, or ranger bill for that matter. The desire for safety stands against every great and noble enterprise.
