I really love that last panel - there's no way anyone should mess with Hoodoo. Ever! Mind you, did I know she could do that at the start of the story? No. Oftentimes situations and powers suggest themself to me as the story unfolds… it's a bit like character whispering!

Also, I really like that there's no pulling the wool over Hamish's eyes!

re Puddle Duck... don't know if you've ever heard of the children's book character Jemima Puddle Duck? That's the reference here since the chracter it's being directed towards here is also named Jemima.

seems like a flaming sword wouldn't be the best choice, though i guess you have to work with what you got. [} '_' {] In all fighting, the direct method may be used for joining battle, but indirect methods will be needed in order to secure victory.
