Probably not the smartest of moves by Kaycee! I really had a blast drawing this sequence and the next page is one of my favorites from the whole story.

I'd say that Maya was just a bit too far away and had Redd and injured Seth in the way, also being a bit weightier, somewhat slower to react physically.
