Gnomes' Story

Well I have in my hot little hand a brand new copy of Photoshop. A friend of mine is taking a course in college and got me a copy. All excuses are gone I will now do brilliat Art!! No so fast Baldy this thing is tough! Big learning curve!Todays strip is done in Photoshop 2 but messin with the new edition taught me a few tricks I didn't know! Hope fully as this old dogs mind wraps itself around some new tricks the art will improve. If not its not so bad now. Is it? Is it?

I use Photoshop 5, but the computer that is on is dying. The new computer has Photoshop 6, but I don't like that much since they changed all the shortcuts I'm familiar with & eliminated some features I liked. I've always had trouble with the E/I rule, probably because my name is Keith which doesn't follow the rule anyway. I like H. Beam Piper's comment about English. He points out it's a blend of several languages, but mostly Anglo-Saxon and Anglo-Saxon was invented by Norse barbarians trying to get dates with Celtic barmaids. It's a wonder English works at all. ;-)

David the Gnome, I think my kids watched it when they were little.... I have no problem with creative grammer and spelling when trying to portray the way people talk. It makes it seem more realistic that way. Y'all kno' wha' I mean?

dang we have english teachers gee you would never know it from my spelling but in the real world I teach sp. ed..i sometimes do odd things with spelling and grammer to try to show how people talk..and i remember dave the gnome he was bassed on a book.. cute show.i was thinking about the gnomes of mount nevermind in the dragon lance books...the art looks good you can do a lot with layers...

Yay! More gnomes! I used to love that show "David the Gnome" when I was a kid. It was on Nickelodeon... back when Nick was cool. Anyone else remember it?

Gah! Colour! Looks quite nice, and those gnomes are getting cuter! Did the Goddess also make it so that the Gnomes inventions don't hurt other's that often as well? On a side note - I was an english teacher as well :P
