I tried something new! I needed Lana to be Half in and half out of the shadow in panel three. So I put a layer over the picture and filled it using grey at about 25% opaq. I then erased out the parts that were in the light. It came out pretty well and the best part is I figured it out myself. No tutuorial! Now I realize tha I did not invent this. But I am kinda happy that I figured it out in my own bald little head with out the usal two hour google search. Hope you like it.!

A selection works really well too, along with odd colored lines to restrict it and easily deletable

The shadow looks pretty good, it would look better if ther was a little more of her shaded then the wall. Unless she's completely against the wall AND completely flat.

Great page. I love this story line. Very heroic. Nice job on the shadow. I think the best way to learn things like this is to experiment.
