Sorry for this. This is a real life outtake. I drew it loved it but could not make it fit the story. Enter Donna. She is doing a fund raising garage sale for the Armed Forces YMCA hero's home which has been so good to us during Donna's treatments. She had me schlepping furniture and digging through boxes. So yes it's a filler. It was for a good cause though.

I was thinking, again wonders will never cease. You know what would be really funny and ironic, if it turned out that Dark Eyes was actually Wander's teacher cause we don't know who Wander's teacher was (I was re-reading the archives).

I think the FOBG has had this particular time travel story planned out for a very long time. If you look back to the page marked Dark Eyes' Treasure you'll note that Ron never gave any explanation for the little 'Note'. My guess is, Dark Eyes left the note for herself.
