The Cat! The cat is a manifestation of one of Dark Eyes weird powers that she received during the cross over wars. It is an awareness of important things around her. It is related to here creating avatars of her intellect and emotions in time of stress. Dark Eyes does not yet know all that she is capable of. But she's learning.
