Actually, the bumblebee thing was a misquote. Not that we scientists don't make mistakes all the time, or that there aren't a whole lot of scientists out there that are bad at it/unscrupulous, but that particular example was the medias fault, problem is everyone remembers that one and forgets the really good examples of boneheaded science

Hmm... 3 feet per minute, and he's about a foot long or so ... So for 20 minutes (fairly long, actually) he maintained a rate of body length every 20 seconds. That's about 4 climb-steps (or 8 paw placements) every 20 seconds ... That's actually pretty rapid. Lan's in good shape in that form. (Yes, a cat an go faster, but that's a cat.)

Well, he IS old for a Pooka. The thing is, he seems to age on a human scale, not a Pooka's.
