Hindu Kush is a freelance Reaper. She has no contract exclusivity with Madam Morte’. There are other Deity’s of death out there. She’s even met with one, Lord Thanatos. As HK’s reputation grows other deities will seek her out for their own special projects. Here is one of her guises for these quests. Behold Apex, Ice Reaper.

Taking a second look it appears that the outfit might not be cosmetic. Even her reaper blade and energy have changed colors. Maybe Reaper colors are determined by which god they work for and the outfits are a type of uniform

I'm guessing shes doing Valkyrie work for Odin. Though its also possible this is for some other death god like the Celtic Ankou, the Slavic Morana, or even the Japanese death god Yomi
