So the excitement is over. Everyone is going home. It appears that the Necromancer lady’s are going to take Cinala in at least for awhile.
Does everyone remember Wheels? He apparently knows Cindy’s granny from the bad old days and it seems the old lady has experience with banishment from the banished point of view.

I'm getting the feeling that Sphinx's don't have the population to join in a war. They seem pretty hunter, gather, with hard rank positions. Deserts normally can't support large populations without some sort of agriculture. Even in the page introducing them, they were basically in the middle of a desert resting on sand dunes. Its not a very advanced way of living.

i get the feeling for Sphinx at least this particular family, Banishment is both punishment and a right of passage. More reclusive the culture, the more important it is to expose the young to other cultures, both so they can interact with them later, and so they can appreciate their own, or chose for themselves how they want to live.

Cindy seems to have forgotten to consider that she was offered a place to stay with a couple of necromancers, they have a skewed idea of what's normal, and even if they didn't one has Pooka blood and the other is dating a Pooka, and that's a practical joke that wrote itself

What is Bright Eye's museum that no one will visit? Mind you, there are a bunch of museums around the world that nobody has visited in a year and a half, but that is something else.
