Zaphyr's design is strongly inspired by a German actress you never heard of. She did the voice for Celia in the German Monsters Inc. dub, and lots of movies and stand-up comedy. Maybe a little bit of Nina Hagen in her too, mostly her fashion taste tho.

She's also sorta a cross of a ballerina and a gymnastics instructor. A walking 80s exercise video. Or the mom/big sister character in an 80s chick flick. I outta put some sweatbands on her.
