let's make this breif. Protoman used Hardman's Hardknuckle power so when he landed int the portal and came out the other side he could grab onto the hard knuckle to fly him to the boss door.
I'm having a hard time following what's happening (even after reading your post) for what it's worth it might help you to look up some storytelling techniques.
I really want to see you get better. There is potential, you just need to unlock it.
