Scene Zero - 006

Updating it early. Trying out different update times to see if there are any differences.
Also, that transport does not fit the hanger At all. I badly underestimated its size. Plus, that pilot dude never appeared on the scene (Excluding Panel 3). Poor guy.
Other than that, I've been thinking of a new layout lately. I've tried to come up with graphics for it… but it just never really took off. I wanted to turn it as if the comic was being browsed through a fictional OS somewhat like Electrosphere and T.C. System from Ace Combat 3 and 4 respectively.
Oh, I still got a lot to go before I even think about implementing custom layout. The thumbnail also fell out of my favor- again.

Well the problem with Metal Slug sprites is that they got virtually no usable portraits at all. I see what you mean by zooming in so close, but it's that or a bunch of rather wasteful empty space. But I'll see what I can do. Thanks for your insight.

Best portayal of action in a sprite comic...EVER. I love the way you use bluring like cross focusing a camera and draw the eye into the scene; whilst keeping sense of manic action in the background. The only minor issue I have is sometimes you bring the shots SO close that some sprites start to look ugly. If you can find something that fits, considering using something a bit higher res for the super close ups. Otherwise they can't really serve the purpose of showing a characters expression.

Oh, that's an interesting thought. You set the entire scene and then simply use small cropped pieces of it to present where the action is, much like a cameraman? Clever.
