I would be a little wary of eating a blue apple from an unknown person! But I would be pretty desperate to down anything at this point...Let's hope they serve more than just blue apples and raw alien creature meat!
@ Sway: Yeah, the human is a real chatterbox, but it's falling on deaf ears. At first, I thought of having leopard-woman wearing earplugs against the engine noise in order to make the gag even more obvious, but then I realized that it was already pretty clear that they can't understand each other.
Beautiful work as always, but I've got to say, I'm really loving the relationship that is developing between these two characters. Having one be a bit of a motormouth, and the other seemingly incapable of understanding or responding to her commentary is a lot of fun. It also lets both characters sort of develop on their own, while also building connections related to one-another.
It all feels so real, these poses and the physical attitudes of both characters - "zzznork" is a PERFECT waking up sound effect! I've made that sound myself many times!! XD
Love her posture and yawn in that first panel - it's so true!! This girl is clearly being nonchalant about this, now that she's safely away from the croc-pack! I just KNOW she's done this before (esp. since this is her 'new' stomach) - insanely curious about her story! And the leopard-chick too! Also this craft is roomier than I first thought!!

Blue apple? Ah hell I'll risk it! pass me one!

Yeah, the nutrients of that apple might not be the right nutrients for her body. Maybe.

Well, she didn't pack a lunch, so blue apples will have to do! The first panel is adorable!

@KimLuster: Thanks! I was assuming a kind of fish-eye perspective in that first panel. That basket is just big enough for a human to curl up in.

Communication is key for a good relationship... that barrier's gonna come down, somehow... I guess... maybe...

Like you're going to find a McDonald's on the next butte? The images of her reclining are so lifelike. Well done.
