To answer a question, yes, memories are in color, as are stories, other planes of existence and anything that isn't the main storyline. It helps to keep the two worlds separate.

This is also me filling in some plot holes.

First…the Mika eye thing. Why does the very earliest picture of the young Mika has her eyes in tact and no scars? Heavy make-up covered most of the damage. And as you can see, the pale skin and purple hair. She didn't go all grey till after the attack. This may require further editing if I missed something, but I'm sure someone will point out my Fail if I have.

Second, why the Taro being mistaken for Tara in the past by both Bengal and Papa-san and Ryujin is that she actually did exist, but they all got the details confused.

Also: Props to Jekyll. Prior to his comment about Mookie being emotional about Weasel's face, she was angry in the upcoming scenes. Her crying With Taro does seem a lot more likely and effective. I didn't originally think of that.
