K-12

- Here's a rare MM strip without any of the main characters!

BTW, K-12 means kindergarten  through 12th grade, or  senior year in High School. K-12 schools used to be pretty common, but now seem to be fairly rare  outside of rural areas and private schools. For those of you who live outside the US, kids here start kindergarten at  age 5, then move on to  grade school (1st-5th grade), middle school (6th-8th grade) and high school (9th-12th grade), graduating high school at age 18. Of course, that actually varies a bit across the country, and often grade school and middle school, or middle school and high school, are housed in the same buildings. this doesn't account for home schools or private schools either, which often do their own things.
