If that's what he wanted and is happy, we're all happy. I didn't know one could transition that young. I thought you could only be aware of your gender once you're in high school.

In the past thats what I thought too. And I bet for a lot of people thats true. But at this point I've met a few trans kids and can see how much happier they are post transition, and I know several trans adults that have told me they wished they could have transitioned younger, but they were either to afraid or no one would listen to them.

Agreeing with Jake. I was kinda a "late bloomer" coming out as trans at 12.

They're 7 and 8. When I was still teaching I had trans kids that young in my classes. Its not actually that uncommon.
