Chapter 3 - Page 25

This Halloween will mark Monster Soup’s one year anniversary. To celebrate this small, but no less challenging feat of stubbornness (on my part), I will be posting guest art. Yes! A run of guest art! Not only will the art be posted on the main site, but they will be posted on the mirror sites, as well. You can send your art to me through a message on deviantART (http://haloghost.deviantart.com/) or through email (haloghost |at| yahoo |dawt| com). Please include your name and any link to your website and/or gallery. The current chapter will end October 18th. Depending on how many submissions I receive, I may begin posting them the following day.

The rules? I’m a mature person and I appreciate art of a mature nature; however, I know there are lines that will be crossed or sometimes avoided. I have rated my comic as “R,” this means that if the artwork is something more explicit than within an “R” rated film, I reserve the right to crop the artwork for display on the site (and mirrors), though I will add a link to the full image. I doubt I’ll receive any such artwork. I just wanted to throw that out there if there were any questions.

Now that that’s out of the way, onto another important piece of business. I have given this some serious thought, and it would hurt me more if I don’t do this, but I must take a small hiatus. I’m calling it a “Holiday Hiatus.” The Holiday Season is a very busy time for me, and I’m certain it will eat up the time I spend working on new pages. So to keep myself from becoming overwhelmed (and giving up completely), I’m giving myself a nice vacation. I will continue to work on the next chapter, but I won’t push myself as hard as I have been doing. Getting burned out on this project is the last thing I want to do. I have so much planned. As they say, this is only the tip of the iceberg. And I promise this to you, Chapter 4 will begin January 1st! After all of the guest art is shown, I will continue to update with concept art and other behind-the-scenes work. I hope I can keep the same Tuesday & Thursday schedule through November and December, but it may be a little sporadic at times.

All right! Get your crayons, pencils, and tablets fired up! Time to create your own tasty Monster Soup dishes for everyone’s eyes to devour.
