Thanks to all of the overwhelmingly (is that a word?) positive feedback, I'm really in the giving mood so here's another NEW page of Mr. Scootles. We finally get to discover more about the creator of Mr. Scootles, Weston Lang, Jr. Watch his downward spiral begin…and read it all right now at Wowio!
Just started reading your comic, and I really love it! Not a lot of people are willing to do these kinds of stories at all!
Mr. Scootles will save the world!
Demynx and Lemniskate: It's so awesome that you noticed his final drawing! Picasso is indeed his last drawing which means the end is near for the troubled Weston Lang, Jr. But he's not going to go easily...
mfc: That means a lot to me. Thank you!
Greaney: Thanks for reading Mr. Scootles! I hope you stay tuned!
Thanks for reading and entering the world of Mr. Scootles,Kokuchan!
Demynx: Mr. Scootles is based on all of the old timey cartoon characters, except he represents a failure while Mickey Mouse was a success. Oswald The Rabbit inspired me to tell the story of what happens to the lost characters...where do they go. The creator in Mr. Scootles is an original based off of what happens if an artist uses his or her strength to destroy rather than to create.
n_y_japlander: Thank you checking out the story! I hope to see you here next week for the update!
Is this character somewhat based on Mickey Mouse, maybe even Oswald the Lucky Rabbit? And his creator I'm not really sure if their are well known cartoon creator with severe depression.
Wow, that's the second time this month that the featured comic section has actually got my attention. Normally I don't pay it any heed unless I see something that looks really unique, and boy howdy this called to me. Really, I absolutely love it. I freakin' love Mr. Scootles, he's the man. I'd totally hang it with this guy.
Wow a new page so soon!!!!
I was wondering when you were going to go into this! Man this is going to be intense watching him unravel...so sad...suicide alweays is. we get to find out how Scootles gets the hole in the head, right? love it!
Thank you for reading, x2_gon! I appreciate the support!
PandaChaosProd.: That is an awesome compliment you have given me. Thank you! I can promise you that the story gets even more sick and twisted as it goes on. Bad for Mr. Scootles, good for us!
therealtj: I believe Weston Lang, Jr. suffers from an insanely dangerous case of depression but it would take a really psychologist to figure out what would make a man do what he did.
wow.
Interesting story you got there.
Reminds me of some really sick and twisted combo of monkey bone and who framed roger rabbit.
And thats just fantastic.
