Poor Mr. Scootles…he just can't catch a break. Just when he kind of gets a healthy grip on things, a Fetus Ghost comes by to spoil the party.
Don't let your party be spoiled! Add Mr. Scootles as a favorite so you can be updated on when the comic is…updated! It will updated until I say so always check back here on Tuesdays or Monday Late Late Nights for a new page of Mr. Scootles goodness.
Thanks for reading and all of your support! Remember archaic paper versions are available through my site hcnoel.com! I'm up to Book 4 so far!

Cool, great effects in this page. Sorry I haven't been around, just recovering from carpal tunnel surgery and also a ganglion cyst removal on my right hand.

Awesome! New FAV!

It seemes like he could come up with a better name than "floaty." What about... "fetusy?" ...yeah, much better.
PandaChaosProduction at 7:42PM, Oct. 31, 2007
ahh...the face on the fetus ghost is just fantastic. Those are just...wonderful. Interesting page, and amazing how a "fetus" ghost knows more then a full grown whatever mr scootles is. ah well, gotta wait and see what happens -jeff

Now that's downright spooky. Awesome layout, awesome art - tight story. Mr. Scootles has it all! \m/

Ahhh...Happy Halloween to all! Except poor Mr. Scootles who still suffers...so close to Hell! The Fetus Ghost does indeed talk in a language similar to Yoda because I love puppets and because children are the most wise of all humans are they not? The slipping, slipped etc panels are meant to disturb and to take you out of the normal viewing pattern of comics so its seems to have kind of worked! I'm going back to watching AMC's marathon of horror movies and I hope you all get a lot of candy on Halloween! PULL THE STRING!

Wow, this is truly an interesting story that you're hammering out. Can't wait to see more out of you. :)

This is really well done.
vie4 at 7:24PM, Oct. 30, 2007
Wow, you are darn good at drawing. I like the skull on the forth panel!
Chaz McRich at 6:01PM, Oct. 30, 2007
DARN YOU FLOOR! Wait... is that a good thing?... or is it the bagel?
Ersatz at 10:59AM, Oct. 30, 2007
Oh god GOD! Scary face!
antcomics at 9:08AM, Oct. 30, 2007
Yeah--great page, but perhaps the 'slip, slipping slipped', instead of being a vertical column could read better placed horizontally between the 'AIEEEE" and the last panel? It still gets a five!! It's so visually stunning (as are all your pages).

Syzygy> Isn't it already damned?
Lemniskate at 12:17AM, Oct. 30, 2007
Clever thing, the big panel in which he's falling behind the other panels. I agree with Midge: it's not unequivocal that the slipping is to be read before he discovers the floor.
Captain Jim at 11:48PM, Oct. 29, 2007
....I want a Mr.Scootles T-shirt. ;__;
Syzygy at 9:23PM, Oct. 29, 2007
Damn you fetus baby! Good job. Keep it up!
TheMidge28 at 9:02PM, Oct. 29, 2007
funny exchange between the fetus ghost and scottles...lovely art as always but the hands slipping panel reads funky where its at...I mean understand what happended but the sequence or flow of panels has the reader go back and forth trying to decide which do I read first...that's all!
TehDante at 9:01PM, Oct. 29, 2007
Fetus Ghost freaks me out, dude. I love the little "Slip, slipping, slipped" sequence, and all his faces for the page. Good stuff, keep on updating and I'll keep on reading!

First comment! Firstly, why does the Fetus Ghost talk like Yoda? And secondly, is his face a photographic montage? Great page.
