I like the idea that the higher you rise in power the less you know. Agatha makes a clear presumption that facing her mother is Cecil's greatest fear however, as we'll discover later her greatest fear is not her mother.
You'll also see this idea of people in high powers making the wrong assumption played out later on.
They work so hard to get where they are at and yet lose sight of the simplest of human aspects.

Wasn't expecting that at all. Really. And I think little spoilers are okay. So long as you don't give away major story point or character aspects. After all, you didn't say what her greatest fear was, just that that wasn't it. Spoilers can be the best tool for keeping people reading. Just use them wisely.
