I'd like to wish everyone a happy new year! This page breaks the hiatus. Over the last two weeks, I had some bright minds helping me flesh out this story. (Big thanks to Boris, Gary and Susan) I pretty much know everything about Nadya and Charna's past now, but I still need to work out the futures of them all. Thoughts on this page, please? I changed the font to make it easier to read and added more contrast than previous pages. Charna's -finally- getting to the meat of the plot and they're saying more than two words a panel…
This year's coming off to a good start. I just turned twenty yesterday, I got an R4DS (look it up!), I tore myself away from an oppressive religion and I'm still crazy about a gorgeous girl in Colorado.

Nice page - lots of good info revealed. Honestly, I liked the font you used for Charna before - I thought it was perfectly readable. I have no idea why people were complaining - this font used for Charna is more difficult to read - at least on my computer. *shrug* The last panel I first read the bubbles from top down and thought "wait, that doesn't make sense" then looked more closely and noticed that they were supposed to go from bottom up. Other than that, I really love the way you use light and shadow to make Charna's face intimidating in Panel 2 and only show the bottom of Nadya's face in Panel 3. Also, Nadya looks very "nose in the air, hoity-toity" in panel 1. Nice work all around in the art department!

Everything you gave on this page is excellent. The information we have been waiting for, seeing Nadya knocked down a peg, and the great dark art on this page all have me in awe. The only thing that is off in this page is the flow of the bottom panel. I am not sure which balloons to read 1st but that is a small issue. GREAT PAGE, welcome back, and don't be proud of being 20... you just keep getting older from there! *misses teenage years

Yeah more contrast definitely serves this page well. Gives it a darker, ergo more serious, tone. I like the concept of Nexxus and the other worlds, it's intriguing. I wonder what the exact nature of the bond is and if the other worlds are Earth-like planets, too, or perhaps some sort of hell?

this page looks very solid. I am glad you finally decided to change the font. and the contrast does help make the scene pop more.

Meh, she's still being too lenient to Nadya. I'd have her demand that Nadya [i]ask politely and humbly[/i] for the info, and then I'd give it. XD Art-wise, what an interesting leap you are taking here! Charna's shadow-chiseled face when she's mad is very threatening and intimidating! Well done!

Beautiful! This page is great! Good artwork. Great shot of Charna's face looking frightening. Great job of putting Nadya down. Great exposition. You reveal a big piece of information but like the pro's you leave us still wondering. :D

Nice developments. You might want to consider changing the order of the balloons in the final panel (and the link from the previous panel, obviously!) Maybe it's just me but I feel the eye is drawn to the top balloon first ... Oh, and congrats on being 20, you young whipper-snapper, you. I can tell you're mature already - choosing a gorgeous girl over an oppressive religion is always a good move!
