Page 6: Shikamaru

Missed me? I'm back and I've got goodies! Here's the next page. I told you you'd start seeing the original Naruto cast. So let's start with Shikamaru. Not much has changed about his appearance. Other than the goatee and the longer wolf's tail ponytail. Oh, and his headband's still on his arm, but there's no sleeve there anymore. Now it's just like a sweatband with the leaf plate on it. Other than that and the simple black tank under his vest, not much has changed has it? Creating a brand new character design that still ties in with each character's individual style isn't all that simple. In fact, you sometimes it's just too…

Yeah, well, I wasn't exactly sure of the style I wanted to do this comic in before. You'll find proof in the inking expirements in the previous pages. And if you'll notice, ratman and fatty are both completely original characters. I didn't realize how hard it was to create new Naruto characters and have it look like a Naruto character. But I think I've got it down now. Thanks for the awesome comments everyone! Oh, and since the next page I do won't be NNC because I already have a different series' page done. I'll give you just a little hint on who it is. So far, only one guess has been right. I won't tell you which though! The next page of NNC will probably be up this Friday. Just be patient.

nice angles, andyou drawings and shading have gotten much better evn if this is all you can see, i can tell theres a lot of improvement, you previous drawings didnt seem as kishimoto-esque, especially rat man and the fatty, but i can definitly see it in this one, and i bet its either temari or ino
