Maddie Crenshaw, the self-medicating manager and former Spiffee Burger executive with addictions has had an… interesting life.
She remembers what it was like to be an outcast.

As a mature adult, she tends to take pity on some of the folks who are a bit outside the box. Like:
Barbara Van Zant - the assistant manager who took this job to babysit her younger sister.
Jonathan “Byrd” Blackfeather - who seems to do things right and have no outwardly visible mental, emotional or personality malfunctions. Which in modern society makes him a ‘weirdo’.
Carmen Bailey - a transgendered aspiring actress, bound and determined not to fall into the trap of being an “influencer” or an “adult entertainer.
Verolina - a red-headed, perky, bubbly fiction writer with a hidden dark side… that's also perky and bubbly.
Amphitryon ”Fitz“ Carver - the gay extrovert with the somewhat gothy exterior who lives for the chaos sown at the Spiffee Burger, and for subverting expectations every chance he gets.
Warren Abernathy - the ”only sane man“ whose family issues are slowly driving him insane.
Edwin ”Skippy“ Cobb - the 77 year old former marine who is rumored to have worked at the very first Spiffee Burger, years ago.
Keniuchio ”The Hat“ Yama - a sword-weilding 17 year old mute who happens to be Maddie Crenshaw's godson.
Branwyn ”Bran“ Van Zandt - Barbara's busty, amazonian ”little" sister who may be an engineering prodigy.
and Zack Davenport - an insomniac who may or may not be able to commune with the supernatural after so many sleepless nights.
