New Year '05

Hey, everyone! Niego welcomes you to a whole new year. The regularly scheduled story will resume again on Friday.

2004 saw the launch of Niego, and therefore, I'd like to think 2005 will be our year to take flight into bigger and better territory. Here are my goals that I'd like to see reached before the end of 2005:

- Merchandise maybe just sticker and buttons to start off with. If I feel confident enough with, I could do T-shirts too. Merchandise is something I'm holding off until I'm much more confident with the traffic rate. Right now, I'm talking to about 1,000 of you, which is amazing, but it could certainly continue to grow. Which brings me to:

- More Advertising Right after the priority of paying for keeping the site up, and keeping the pens I use to make the comic in stock, my third use for donations from you wonderful readers is getting adspace out there. I'd love to see just how much we can grow.

- Conventioning I'd like to go to at least one convention this year. I'd love more than anything to meet some of you guys. The only thing is that it costs a lot of cash to get out to conventions. So that throws a wrench into the mix. Also, the first two goals have to be reached. I need something to seel at conventions, and I need a decent reader base to warrant the trip.

I don't know if we'll reach all of these before 2006, but I'm confident 1 or 2 of them will come to fruition, if not all 3.

Here's hoping 2005 kicks up some serious ass.
