Dear,Sky, I will never forget the Halloween party where I won a prize. I was wearing nylons, a short black skirt, and a black bra under a white blouse. On stage I acted like a slutty hooker, hiking up my skirt I recieved a a gift certificate to Barnes and Noble where I bought "STORY OF O" by Pauline Reage.tommym
Fantastic title page! The warm paper and charcoal/graphite look does a really good job of setting up the, well, setting and the tone for the upcoming chapter, and the level of detail you put into this is incredible. I look forward to the next page!
The original pencil drawing looked cold so I added a yellow tint digitally and then just scraped a few marks out of that to help give it a warmer look, so I'm glad that comes across. The actual comic pages will be in my usual Simply Sarah style but this is the first time I've planned out the story as set chapters, each with it's own chapter page because I may very well go to print with this eventually, even just for my own bookshelf!
I love the classic storybook illustration quality of this and all the details of the attic(?) and the old mirror. Makes me wonder what she seeing/imagining.
I came over all Disney and thought it would be nice to start each chapter with a pencil drawing! After I'd drawn it though I felt like I'd done something out of Winnie the Pooh! Yes, it is an attic and you will find out!
This felt quite easy as the pose was nice and simple but when I draw a picture of two people interacting in some way I can fight with it for an hour trying to work out why it looks weird!

A well spent gift certificate! XD I'd love to have seen you doing that, it must have been a very impressive performance!

Lovely pencil art! I love how your lines are very confident and relaxed, but also precise.
