Not much to say about this page but it helps give a little insight into Leo's character. It wasn't even a page I was looking forward to doing but I did manage to squeeze in a traditional phone booth for posterity! XD
Such a lovely simple page and it does wonders if you look at it right. For one thing, it helps fill in Leo a bit as you said and hints at her character. It's a simple day out walking among the shops. I'm taking it, since we see them snacking and a little window shopping and the like. Simple, but still nice and I take it this is all memory of what it was like at that time. Have you been back to see how much it has changed? I know some of the places I frequented when I was younger are no longer there or have changed so drastically that it's not even recognizable anymore.
As always, Sky, you bring some very nice pages out and they always have a little bit of something to them. You may not have looked forward to doing the page, but that's probably something that happens to a lot of creative types. But please, be happy you did it as it helps us understand it all better. On top of that, we get your little touches and memories immortalized, like the phone booth! LOL!
Thank you.
You found more to say about this page than I could think of for my editorial which shows what a talented writer you are! And yes, our college was right on the edge of the town centre so our lunchtime travels were fairly limited as we had an hour for lunch which soon went! I still live in the area and it is pretty much the same architecturally although all the shops we loved back then like Virgin have long since gone. But most of the charity shops are still there and the little shop where we all bought our art supplies is too even though the art college is now a block of flats and a new university block built right in the middle of town.

It's been on my mind to put Blockbusters in the background at some point, I just have to try and remember it!
