I absolutely had horrible teachers teaching me the traditional art basics at my school years and even at my university, I avoided them like the plague and used to try to find some book I can click to (mostly how to draw manga and comics :P) then after I graduated I saw most amazing artists are the ones who had a strong grasp of those concepts and now I'm back to basics again *Sob*

ah jeeze. i would become so impatient and aggravated in having to go over the whole line thickness, 3D shapes, horizon line, and shading. it would probably explode my head.
