Huh, I find that pretty interesting. See, I'm English, and the main problem people have with the History courses here are that they never focus on 20th century Britain. Anything after 1900s is Germany or, more likely, Russia and America. From what you said there I suppose British students probably know more about Nixon than American ones XD
I think it would be fun to find out how many of your readers understand the reference. Its fairly obscure and I don't remember schools ever getting their history classes up to the second half of the 20th century.
