Gullas : Oh look, new characters, I wonder who they are ;)
Lemniskate:
Soo… this was the first scene where I severely interfered with Gullas' writing. But previosly, there was a misunderstanding.
He mentioned that the fighting characters wore “desert outfit”. Now for me this would have meant something Indiana Jones style, with topee and shirts with pouches and stuff.
…
Turns out he meant Arabic or Tuareg clothing or something like that. O.o
But if the script mentions a butler in a black suit, my first association is not that kind of clothing.
And then…
it is difficult to show that people were fighting for two hours (and other things, as you will see later)without words. So all the word ballons you see are my addition to clarify a bit more what is going on.

the yellow eye part, Lem's addition! I like it :)

Funny. To me, "desert clothing" would have meant light khaki coloured shorts and shirts. Like WW2 desert combat wear. Ah, the power and mystery of words! I agree with Lem about the importance of words in a comic. (As you can probably tell from my own text-heavy pages!) I think the accepted belief that you can tell a story with pictures alone is at best only half-true and possibly not even that. (Try reading a comic in a foreign language!) Anyway, after all that ... nice page composition!
