Dx I am very sorry for the late update (AGAIN)… I started working on the page a day late, so I think that kind of threw me off…

Well, there are some interesting things about this page. Certain last minute decisions that I made with it. One thing you'll probably be able to pick out is that the second panel with Indy was not the origional panel. Dx The first panel I had in mind was a very oogly sketch of Nomed that I really did not like. So I photoshopped Indy in the last minute… that's why it looks wonky. TT__TT But I think it's got a far better effect, really… somehow…

Also… well, it has been decided that Nomed will probably chops his own wing off a few pages down the road. That might add an extra page or two to this battle (which is not going to be anywhere near as long as the last one), but there has not been enough red in these battles. Dx Aside from that, later on, (after the battle) watching Nomed regrow his wing will be really… interesting. :D Interesting to draw and CG as well, so… Might as well happen here and now, rather than nowhere and never. xP

Errrrm, aside from that, subtle little things in the page to notice. xO

Frail: xD to make that transparency, all I do is erase the lines on one of the layers. Is very effective… (If you think about it, hair is transparent. Dx You can see people's eyes through individual strands…)

Mina_Lunga: Dx When I call lightning an element, I refer to the modern pop-culture archytypes… Real elements are Water, Fire, Earth, Spirit. This I know, so what do you call all the other stuff, in the end? x_X I just clump it all under one name for now. Does Ruethin have an edge due to his half-demon heritage? By now, some things are evident. His eyes = very important. I had hoped people would understand, Here that Ruethin can see in the dark, even with sunglasses on, because of the demonic characteristics of his eyes. Something that wasn't shown quite so well, is also the fact that he can see in incredibly bright light… The mechanics behind this are still foggy to me, but really, not even Ruethin could tell you how or why it works. Also, Ruethin's eye-sight is sharper than the average human's. While we might see a table, sitting three feet from it, he could make out individual splinters on it. @_@; Now, here, on this page is mention that he does have some kind of resistance to fatal poisons. Another important part of his heritage is the ability to heal. This is, I think, one of the most common aspects of most demons, their ability to heal almost instantly. Ruethin, being half, takes longer to heal, but he still heals rapidly, just after being hurt. Aside from that, many of his skills are things that he just hasn't become aware of, yet. The description of my comic is resounding here: “When demons are involved, there are many possibilities.” Ah, FYI, I will tell how Ruethin learned to use electricity. He and Nomed both spend many days at libraries, in their youth. Ruethin was not very talented at defending himself, so Nomed found a book that taught him how to “invoke an element.” I intend to depict this in the comic… After all this battle stuff is over (Sooon Dx ) then I'm going to dive into their background. Dx They don't tell you, for once a week updating comics, that if you don't blab EVERYTHING when you have the chance, it will take FOREVER to get another chance to do so… *rrrr* P.S. I am not so sure what you mean by Nomed exploding at everything. ^ ^;; All during the battle he's been very calm… and he continues to be so…

KorunaDog: xD Welcome to Nomed's enigmatic personality. It looks like he doesn't care, but what you are really seeing is his experience… he doth not need to panic, but apparently even Indy is unaware of this. xP

Xilixon Leviath: o o *really?* Is that because the darts were so thick looking? Aye, Nomed has massive tolorance to pain. xP Ah, there is also a toxin that enduces a light coma… Since it takes forever to get to the next page, I'll say it here, Nomed's demonic heritage slows the effects of the darts for him, as opposed to Ruethin. However, they will still effect him and he's dead serious about that wing. If it stops moving, he'll break it right off.

Then we get to see him grow it back, at a later time. xP Bones, membrane… It'll be interesting. Especially when noting that after all this tolorance to pain, one will discover that growing a wing back, for Nomed, hurts like a bitch…
