Page - 124 [ Boom ]

Yeeeeeah, okay, so here's the thing. This is actually a Filler Page. But instead of making up some fanchy piece of concept art or sommit, I decided just to CG the explosion. @_@ Otherwise the whole mood and build up would have been destroyed (haha boom).

Yeah, it is one frigging panel. Dx What a rip off, huh? Well, all last week, I was swamped with research paper tasks… The ten page essay I wrote ended up taking me TWELVE hours to write. Dx I started the damned thing at five thirty in the afternoon and finished at six thirty in the morning. The reason why that took so long, though, was actually because I had to photocopy every single one of my sources. That took… FOREVER…

On top of that, I had to prepare for a Medieval Feast that my Medieval Brit Lit class was putting on for Thursday night. I had to draw up some sketches to hang up for decoration… I origionally intended on making like eight pieces, but ran out of time and ended up only doing four. Dx But me mum did that trick where you take tea and stain the paper and then burn the edges. So in person, the pictures look AWESOME. They are pictures of King Arthur (which looks awful and I really hate how this one turned out. D,x) then there's Guenivere (which I can never how to spell her name right. But she turned out pretty well) there's A Scene from Mary de France's Lais called Yonec. And finally, there's The Green Knight (who I actually did my paper about).

So those took up some time. @_@ Gathering other decorations for the feast took up time (I was on decorating committee) and these papers… Which is all why y'all only have one panel this week.

If I wanted the next page to look decent, I'd have to give it more time than just two days to work on. @_@ Which I hope I can still do that this time around…

Wazaga: Dx Sorry about that. The idea was actually to frame a split second action… like RIGHT before the kid's knees would reach the board, the camera took the shot. Of course, I could have done that better by making a lot more blur motions. =__=; *gah*

Freakeh/LanceDanger: I tried really hard to get that bomb to look like how I have it pictured. It's really cool, because it's energy wrapped in this weird transparent skin… It's hard to get the outter shell to look like transparent skin, though. Dx Guh. This is one of Nomed's favorite attacks.

Mina_Lunga: ^ ^; Answered the physics comment on the last page. This bit of physics might be easier to accomplish. xD EXPLODY PHYSICS!

kalliikak: Nah, I do appreciate input! I am inclined to agree, what is it that causes the white-haired kid to go faster than Nomed. I'm banking on his managing to fall so that his body stays completely narrow. Kind of like shooting a straw through the air, maybe… Also, Nomed does levitate, the moment he's been kicked in the chin. Because he's not about to let himself continue falling if he doesn't know how he's going to land.

So.. the next two weeks are still going to be insane. Dx But uh, with no more micro research papers, I might be able to juggle things a bit better… I think… maybe… yep.

Can't wait till the semeseter is over. @_@;
