FFS #70: She Could Slay Me Any Day

This one was pretty much written by Colin, and his response nearly every time I talk about Buffy. That's right, I have been watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer pretty much all the way through for about two or three weeks now, and I don't feel like any less of a man. So take that, Colin!

It was a pretty good show. Very entertaining, very funny when it wants to be. The special effects are terrible, but I digress. I am thoroughly enjoying it, and am more than halfway done season 5. I blame Hijinks Ensue (http://www.hijinksensue.com - HILARIOUS webcomic) because I recently went through and listened to all of their podcasts, and they speak very highly of Buffy.

Anyway, let's talk about what everyone should be talking about this weekend, and beyond: Watchmen. How many people checked this movie out? I sure as shit did. I read the graphic novel as recent as a year ago, and this movie was amazing beyond even my expectations (and I expected a lot due to Zack Snyder's previous work). I cannot wait to watch this movie again.

The next episode of Simulated Importance that we record will be about Watchmen, and I am sure there will be gushing aplenty there, so follow me on Twitter to see when we will be broadcasting, if I decide to go with a uStream feed this week.
